KPL Students across Laos will have enough textbooks, writing books, and teacher’s manuals for the new 2025-2026 school year. The Education Printing House State Enterprise under the Ministry of Education and Sports has completed printing and is ready to distribute books to schools nationwide.

(KPL) Students across Laos will have enough textbooks, writing books, and teacher’s manuals for the new 2025-2026 school year. The Education Printing House State Enterprise under the Ministry of Education and Sports has completed printing and is ready to distribute books to schools nationwide.

According to Mr. Khambone Bounnalath, Director of the Education Printing House, the enterprise has printed different amounts of textbooks depending on the level. For example, primary school Grades 1-5 received between 100,000 and 300,000 copies, lower secondary Grades 1-4 received 5,000–20,000 copies, and upper secondary Grades 5-7 received 3,000–10,000 copies.

Primary students will study between 5 and 6 subjects depending on their grade, while secondary students will study 11–12 subjects. Prices vary, starting from 149,000 kip.

This year, the Education Printing House will distribute more than 865,000 textbooks, writing books, and teacher’s manuals, as well as 203,000 history books and exam papers. Besides school materials, the enterprise also provides magazines, newspapers, and other publications to meet the needs of society.
