KPL The Department of Energy Industry Safety Management under the Ministry of Energy and Mines confirmed today that the 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Myanmar did not cause any damage to hydropower dams in Laos.

(KPL) The Department of Energy Industry Safety Management under the Ministry of Energy and Mines confirmed today that the 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Myanmar did not cause any damage to hydropower dams in Laos.

Initial reports from hydroelectric projects indicate that all dams remain in good condition, with no impact from the quake.
