The Department of Trade Promotion and Handicrafts, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, in collaboration with Sangsan Event Organiser, has launched the first Motor Fair 2025, running from Feb 10-16 at NAGAMALL (Parkson) in Vientiane.

(KPL) The Department of Trade Promotion and Handicrafts, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, in collaboration with Sangsan Event Organiser, has launched the first Motor Fair 2025, running from Feb 10-16 at NAGAMALL (Parkson) in Vientiane.
The event gathers nearly 20 car dealers, insurance companies, and credit providers, showcasing electric vehicles (EVs), fuel-efficient cars, electric motorcycles, auto parts, car accessories, insurance services, and financial solutions.
Director General of the Department of Trade Promotion and Handicrafts, Vithoun Sitthimorada, highlighted the automobile industry's ongoing evolution to meet consumer needs, noting that vehicles are high-value products essential for economic growth, daily life, and transportation. He added that the fair provides consultation services to help attendees make informed purchasing decisions.
In addition to vehicle exhibitions, the fair features a marketplace for Lao handicrafts and locally produced goods, promoting domestic products and encouraging support for local industries.
Mrs. Vongvanh Bouapheng, President of Sangsan Event Organiser, highlighted that the Motor Fair serves as a platform for promoting and advertising modern, fuel-efficient, and electric vehicles, aligning with economic trends. She added that the event gathers key industry players to enhance consumer awareness and support the transition to sustainable mobility solutions.
