KPL President Thongloun Sisoulith welcomed the courtesy visit of Vietnamese Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh during his official visit to Laos from December 18 to 20, 2024.

(KPL) President Thongloun Sisoulith welcomed the courtesy visit of Vietnamese Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh during his official visit to Laos from December 18 to 20, 2024.
On this occasion, President Thongloun Sisoulith congratulated and praised Nguyen Hai Ninh on his recent appointment as the new Minister of Justice of Vietnam and for leading his delegation to visit and work in Laos. 
He highly valued the strong friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples of Laos and Vietnam, which continue to be strengthened. 
He emphasized the significant role this visit plays in fostering closer collaboration, particularly in the justice sector, to achieve further substantial outcomes.
President Thongloun also conveyed his regards to the Party General Secretary and the President of Vietnam and, on behalf of the Lao Party, Government, and multi-ethnic Lao people, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Vietnamese Party, Government, and people for their valuable and effective support. 
He particularly highlighted Vietnam's sincere and significant assistance to Laos in its role as ASEAN Chair for 2024, contributing to Laos' successful leadership of ASEAN.
In response, Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh expressed his appreciation for the warm and cordial welcome and expressed his wishes for the enduring great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.
