(KPL) The Governor of Khammouan Province, Mr. Vanxay Fongsavanh, warmly received a youth delegation from Vietnam’s Quang Ngai Province on November 18, 2024. The delegation, led by Mrs. Ho Thi Thu Thanh, President of the Vietnam Youth Association of Quang Ngai Province, was welcomed at the Khammouan Provincial Government Office.

During the meeting, Ms. Ho Thi Thu Thanh outlined the purpose of their visit, emphasizing the aim of strengthening cooperation and learning opportunities between the two provinces. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception extended by the senior leadership of Khammouan Province.

Governor Vanxay Fongsavanh commended the visit as a testament to the enduring solidarity between Laos and Vietnam. He underscored the critical role youth organizations play in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration, exchange programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives between the two provinces.

The governor also encouraged the delegation to educate young people on the value of the Laos-Vietnam partnership, fostering awareness of their shared history and aspirations.
