The event was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith.

Mr. Saleumxay, who also serves as chairman of the committee, highlighted the event’s role in strengthening connections between the Lao diaspora and their motherland, providing a valuable forum for Lao expatriates to reconnect, engage in meaningful dialogue, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the Lao PDR.
