(KPL) The 7th meeting of the Laos-Cambodia, Cambodia-Laos Joint Boundary Commissions was held in Vientiane on June 28.
The Lao delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of Laos-Cambodia Joint Boundary Commission Saleumxay Kommasith while the Cambodian side was led by Minister in charge of State Secretariat of Border Affairs and Chairman of the Cambodia-Laos Joint Boundary Commission Lam Chea.

The meeting adopted the outcomes of the 9th meeting of the Lao-Cambodian Technical Sub-Commission on Joint Border Demarcation held on Jun 27 and reports on the determination of boundary marker points by the joint technical sub-commissions between May 2023 to June 2024.
Up to 168 border marker points have been determined. These include 135 newly determined points. Seventy-three border markers have been built as the two countries plan to install a total of 510 border stones on their common borderline.
