KPL (KPL) A tropical depression that has brought heavy downpours to Vietnam's central region has now weakened and entered Laos. The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology therefore on Tuesday issued a warning, advising people to be extra vigilant and wary of potential flooding in the central and southern provinces.

(KPL) A tropical depression that has brought heavy downpours to Vietnam's central region has now weakened and entered Laos. The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology therefore on Tuesday issued a warning, advising people to be extra vigilant and wary of potential flooding in the central and southern provinces.

Many provinces of Vientiane, and provinces of Huaphan, Xieng Khuang, Luang Prabang, Xayaboury, Xaysomboun, Vientiane, Bolikhamxay, Khammuan, Savannakhet, Salavan, Champasak, Sekong, and Attapeu Laos will experience moderate to severe rainfall from Tuesday to Wednesday, and some will also be affected by the storm's powerful winds.

Everyone should be prepared for weather extremes and keep track of forecasts, the bureau has warned.
