Banque pour le Commerce Exterieur Lao Public (BCEL) and NTP Company Limited have joined forces to support Lao society by offering special fuel vouchers to motorcyclists, aiming to ease transport costs and encourage digital banking through the BCEL One application.
Under the initiative, BCEL One users will receive a fuel voucher worth 50,000 kip per motorcycle, with a total support value of nearly 200 million kip. The programme is designed to provide direct assistance to daily commuters and strengthen cooperation between the banking and energy sectors in supporting the public.
The fuel distribution activity will take place at That Luang Lake, at the NTP mobile fuel service point, from 26 to 27 March 2026, between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. Organisers expect strong public participation as the initiative targets a large number of motorcycle users in Vientiane.
To receive the fuel voucher, participants must ride their motorcycle to the location and claim the benefit in person. They are also required to show the BCEL One application on their mobile phone, follow the BCEL Bank and NTP Company Limited Facebook pages, and like and share the promotional post publicly.
According to the organisers, the offer is limited to 2,000 motorcycles per day and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Authorities encourage eligible participants to arrive early to secure their vouchers.
The initiative reflects BCEL and NTP’s commitment to supporting the community, promoting digital financial services, and helping to ease the burden of rising fuel costs for everyday commuters in Laos.
