(KPL) On January 9, 2026, members of the Party Committee, leadership, and heads of departments of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda and Training Board gathered to congratulate Mr. Khamphan Pheuyavong on his recent election to the Party’s top leadership.
Mr. Khamphan Pheuyavong, Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda and Training Board, was elected as a member of the 12th Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and, notably, as one of the 13 members of the Politburo during the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, held from January 6–8, 2026.
At the congratulatory ceremony, Mr. Khamphan expressed his sincere gratitude to the leadership and staff of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda and Training Board for their trust and support. He reaffirmed his commitment to dedicating all his efforts to fulfilling his responsibilities as a Politburo member, while continuing to lead and guide the Board’s work toward modernization and sustained achievements.
On behalf of the Board, Mr. Laopaoxong Navongxay, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda and Training Board, extended warm congratulations, noting that Mr. Khamphan’s election reflects his outstanding capabilities, strong ethical standards, and long-standing dedication to the Party and the nation.
On the same day, a delegation from Saravane Province, led by Ms. Bounthavy Douanglasy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, also paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Khamphan Pheuyavong to offer congratulations and express confidence in his continued success in his new responsibilities.
