Lao Deputy Prime Minister to Attend EU Indo-Pacific Forum in Brussels

KPL Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith, will lead the Lao delegation to the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, taking place from 20–21 November 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.

(KPL) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith, will lead the Lao delegation to the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, taking place from 20–21 November 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.

The visit follows an official invitation from Ms. Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Vice-President of the European Commission.

During the forum, Mr. Saleumxay is expected to hold bilateral talks with foreign ministers from several European Union member states, as well as with counterparts from across the Asia-Pacific region, aimed at strengthening diplomatic cooperation and addressing shared regional challenges.
