ASEAN media tour highlights on Changsha's rapid growth

KPL Journalists from ASEAN nations are touring Changsha this week to explore the UNESCO City of Media Arts, and renowned for its vibrant, modern, and international appeal.

The week-long tour is hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and organized by the Hunan Branch of China News Service.Nearly 20 journalists and online influencers from Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, and Malaysia join the programme.

Participants will experience Changsha's achievements in technology as well as its innovation in Al, and its growing role in Changsha and ASEAN cooperation, particularly in culture, technology, and tourism.

ASEAN is Changsha's largest trading partner. Changsha has opened international air routes and land transport corridors with most of ASEAN countries, enabling frequent cultural and tourism exchanges.

Changsha has been actively exploring innovative ways to integrate culture with technology, achieving remarkable results. With its rich historical and cultural heritage, the city has injected new vitality into its cultural and tourism industries by harnessing modern technologies such as digital exhibitions and smart tourism solutions.
