(KPL) President Choummaly Sayasone on Tuesday issued a decree to promulgate the Constitution of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic following the approval of its amendments by the National Assembly at its 10th Ordinary Session earlier this month.
The promulgation of the national constitution is in accordance with section 1 in Article 67 of the national constitution (2003 amended version), the resolution of the 10th Ordinary Session of the National Assembly No 012/NA dated 8 Dec 2015, and the proposal letter of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee No 028/STC dated 8 Dec 2015.
