Leaders commemorate 69th anniversary of Lao People’s Revolutionary Party

KPL (KPL) Secretary General and State President Thongloun Sisoulith led Party and government leaders in laying a wreath on Friday morning at the Monument of Unknown Soldiers (Red Star) in Vientiane to mark the 69th founding anniversary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (Mar 22, 1955 – 2024).

(KPL) Secretary General and State President Thongloun Sisoulith led Party and government leaders in laying a wreath on Friday morning at the Monument of Unknown Soldiers (Red Star) in Vientiane to mark the 69th founding anniversary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (Mar 22, 1955 – 2024).

The purpose of the ceremony was to pay tribute and express gratitude to the virtuous and courageous fighting spirit of the Lao people and revolutionary fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation under the leadership of the Party.

On the same day, the Party and State leaders also placed a basket of flowers at Kaysone Phomvihane Museum to honour and acknowledge the virtues of the late president, who spearheaded Laos’ revolution.
