(KPL) Mr. Khonepheng Thammavong, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to Austria, last week in Vienna, presented his credential letter to Executive Director of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Mr. Ciyong Zou.
Mr. Ciyong Zou expressed welcome and congratulations to Mr. Khonepheng Thammavong appointed as the new permanent representative of the Lao PDR to UNIDO’s Office and confirmed that he will cooperate in the performance of his mission as the permanent representative of Laos to be successful, especially to promote the cooperation between Laos and UNIDO.
Lao Ambassador Khonepheng expressed his sincere gratitude for the cooperation, support and assistance of the Lao PDR in various aspects of the organization to Laos in the past in support and technical assistance and important contributions to the organization of the strategic development plan in the direction of industrialization and gradual modernization of the government of the Lao PDR over the past 37 years.
