(KPL) On December 26, 2025, Medical officials from Attapeu Provincial Hospital and Quang Ngai General Hospital No. 2 of Vietnam held a consultative meeting in Attapeu to strengthen bilateral cooperation in healthcare services.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Nouphid Phonsavanh, Deputy Director of Attapeu Provincial Hospital, and the Director of Quang Ngai General Hospital No. 2, along with leadership teams and medical professionals from both institutions.

Discussions focused on exchanging experience and lessons learned in hospital operations and medical management. Dr. Nouphid Phonsavanh said the visit provided a valuable opportunity for both sides to enhance understanding and share best practices.

The two hospitals also presented their organizational structures and reviewed operational approaches across various medical departments, identifying areas for closer coordination.

Looking ahead, both parties agreed to continue and expand cooperation, particularly in orthopedics, surgery and general surgery, anesthesiology, and human resource development for medical personnel.

As part of the visit, Quang Ngai General Hospital No. 2 donated medical equipment to Attapeu Provincial Hospital, underscoring the commitment to practical and long-term medical collaboration between the two sides.
