The police raided a shop house suspected of being used to make fake Johnnie Walker Black and Red Label liquors and arrested two suspects.

(KPL) The police raided a shop house suspected of being used to make fake Johnnie Walker Black and Red Label liquors and arrested two suspects.

Police officers of Saysettha District were informed by a Khamsavath villager that he was persuaded to buy 27 cases of fake Johnnie Walker whisky, according to Lao Public Security TV (Lao PSTV).
The two suspects were arrested on 17 March. The first one was 21 year old Mr Jinda, who goes by the nickname Wai and is a resident of Nonkho Neua village in Saysettha district, Vientiane Capital. The second suspect is 41 year old Mr Niveth who goes by the nickname Ko and is a villager of Dongpalane Thong, Sisattanark District, Vientiane Capital.
The suspects admitted that they sold the fake Johnnie Walker whisky with Mr Jinda working as the salesman who would visit shops across Vientiane Capital to sell their fake whisky.
