Media One contracts FM 97.3 MHz radio concession

KPL Lao National Radio and Media One signed an agreement on FM 97.3 MHz radio concession on 2 Feb. The agreement was signed at Lao National Radio between Deputy Director of Lao National Radio Phosy Keomanyvong and President and CEO of TV Lao Hongkham Souvannavong.

(KPL) The Lao National Radio and Media One Company signed an agreement on the FM 97.3 MHz radio concession on 2 February.

The agreement was signed at the Lao National Radio between Deputy Director of the Lao National Radio, Mr Phosy Keomanyvong and President and CEO of TV Lao, Mr Hongkham Souvannavong.  

The signing was witnessed by the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Savankhone Razmountry, General Director of the Lao National Radio, Mr Sypha Nonglath, and relevant officials of both sides.

“The three-year concession of Media One Radio FM 97.3 MHz allows us to broadcast programmes on March 1st, 2015 between 6:00 AM to 24:00 PM every day,” said Mr Hongkham.

“The production of the radio focuses on documentaries on various issues and technology and the company will also broadcast some programmes of TVLAO HD channels such as breaking news, information, sports and entertainment, both domestic and foreign,” he said.
