On October 27, 2026, a Chinese delegation led by Most Venerable Yin Shun—Founding Chairman of the Nanhai Buddhism Roundtable and Abbot of Hongfa Temple—visited the Lao Art Museum in Vientiane.
The study tour took place alongside the Nanhai Buddhism Roundtable currently being held in the Lao PDR.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the museum committee and Mr. Khanonglith Sisomboun, Head of the Research and Training Centre of the Lao Front for National Development.
During the visit, committee members guided the delegation through the museum, offering a presentation on its rich history and the initial vision behind its construction.
A source of national pride, the Lao Art Museum showcases the exceptional craftsmanship of local artisans. From its architectural design and intricate wood carvings to its display of ancient artifacts, the building's elements beautifully reflect a noble culture and civilization deeply intertwined with the richness of Lao nature.
