(KPL) On April 21, 2026, the Lao Front for National Development convened a meeting to review the progress of its Subcommittee for Security and Health Care.

The meeting was chaired by Siphachanh Nanthavongsa, a member of the Party Standing Committee, Vice President of the LFNC, and Head of the Subcommittee. Participants included subcommittee members and representatives from the Vientiane Public Security Command, the Department of Healthcare under the Ministry of Health, and the General Logistics Department of the Ministry of Public Security.

Discussions focused on ensuring full readiness for upcoming national events. Key areas included assessing the overall preparedness of security and healthcare operations and reviewing progress in implementing action plans by the respective units.

During the meeting, the Vice President commended all sectors for their strong sense of responsibility in developing plans and coordinating effectively between the health and public security sectors. She emphasized the political importance of these preparations, noting that they are essential for major national and Party events.

She also stressed the need to ensure the safety and well-being of senior Party and Government leaders, as well as former high-ranking officials. In particular, she called for thorough and effective preparations to guarantee the success of the 12th National Congress of the LFNC.

The meeting highlighted the LFNC’s commitment to careful planning and coordination, with a strong focus on safeguarding the health and security of all delegates and leadership involved in the upcoming congress.
