KPL Representatives from the public and private sectors today presented financial and in-kind contributions to the Lao Government in support of the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

(KPL) Representatives from the public and private sectors today presented financial and in-kind contributions to the Lao Government in support of the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

The donations were officially received by Deputy Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith and Minister of Finance Santiphab Phomvihane at a ceremony attended by senior officials and representatives from relevant ministries and organizations.

The contributions underscore a strong sense of unity and shared responsibility in support of the Congress, which is being held in Vientiane from January 6 to 8, 2026.

Major donations include two billion kip from Lao Green Company, 1.12 billion kip from PSL Company, and one billion kip each from JDB Bank and Lao Standard Company, and 500 million kip from Tangchalern Company.

Significant support was also provided by provincial authorities, including 220 million kip from Vientiane, 213 million kip and consumer goods from Khammuan Province, 200 million kip and consumer goods from Xaysettha Company, 100 million kip from Bolikhamxay Province, and 100 million kip each from Ministry of National Defence  and Ministry of Public Security, 70 million kip from Bokeo Province, and 50 million kip from Huaphan Province.

On behalf of the government, Deputy Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith and Minister Santiphab Phomvihane expressed sincere appreciation for the generous contributions, which they said demonstrate a clear recognition of the Congress's national importance.

They emphasized that this support is crucial for ensuring the smooth organization and successful outcomes of the historic Congress. The officials further assured that all funds and resources will be managed with efficiency and transparency to guarantee the orderly and uninterrupted proceedings of the event.
