Provinces and Bank of the Lao PDR Present Contributions in Support of 12th Party Congress

KPL On January 6, 2026, at the National Convention Center in Vientiane Capital, representatives from several provinces and the Bank of the Lao PDR (BOL) presented financial contributions and supplies in support of the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.

(KPL) On January 6, 2026, at the National Convention Center in Vientiane Capital, representatives from several provinces and the Bank of the Lao PDR (BOL) presented financial contributions and supplies in support of the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.

The contributions were officially received on behalf of the government by Mr. Santiphab Phomvihane, Minister of Finance and Vice Chairman of the Budget and Administration Subcommittee of the 12th National Party Congress.

Contributions Presented

The support handed over at the ceremony included:

Sekong Province: Mr. Bounlay Boutthi, Party Secretary of Sekong Province, presented 50 million Kip.

Xieng Khouang Province: Mr. Bouangeun Houmchaiyaphom, Chairman of the Provincial Administration, presented 120 million Kip.

Oudomxay Province: Mr. Bounkhong Lachiamphone, Party Secretary of Oudomxay Province, presented 100 million Kip.

Attapeu Province: Mr. Thanousay Bansalith, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Governor, presented supplies and support valued at 234 million Kip.

Bank of the Lao PDR: Mme. Bounkham Vorachit, Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR, presented 675 million Kip, along with commemorative medals.

Demonstrating Unity and Responsibility

These contributions reflect the strong spirit of unity, responsibility, and solidarity among provincial authorities and national financial institutions in supporting the successful organization of the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, which is being held from January 6 to 8, 2026, in Vientiane.
