KPL Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongsavanh Phomvihane has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Cho Hyun following his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.


(KPL) Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongsavanh Phomvihane has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Cho Hyun following his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

In an official message read: “I have a great pleasure and honour to extend my warmest congratulations to Your Excellency on your appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

The Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Korea have enjoyed close friendly ties and fruitful cooperation that have been continuously enhanced and deepened over the past three decades. I stand ready to work closely with Your Excellency both in bilateral and multilateral frameworks in order to further enhance and strengthen such good relations and cooperation in the years to come for mutual benefits of the people of our two nations as well as for the cause of peace, stability and cooperation for development in the region and the world at large.
