Young professionals across Southeast Asia, including the Lao PDR, are being encouraged to apply for the return of the ASEAN Youth Fellowship (AYF), a flagship regional leadership development programme under the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The programme brings together outstanding participants aged 27 to 35, offering a platform for cross-border collaboration, leadership development, and policy engagement on key regional challenges.
Recognised as a leading initiative for nurturing emerging talent, the AYF provides participants with opportunities to engage directly with senior policymakers and thought leaders. The programme also features specialised learning journeys and interactive discussions focused on regional development issues.
Throughout the fellowship, participants will connect with a diverse network of peers from various professional sectors across ASEAN, fostering long-term cooperation and mutual understanding.
The 2026 edition of the ASEAN Youth Fellowship is scheduled to take place from November 13 to 20, beginning in Singapore and continuing in Philippines.
The programme is expected to attract strong interest from across the region, as young professionals seek to strengthen their leadership capacity and contribute to ASEAN’s shared future.
