(KPL) Authorities in Vientiane are preparing to host the 12th One District One Product (ODOP) and Model Family Product Exhibition, scheduled to take place from May 1–10, 2026.
A press conference announcing the event was held on April 20 at the Lao-ITECC Shopping Center. The briefing was jointly organized by the Vientiane Department of Industry and Commerce, the Department of Culture and Tourism, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the Lao-ITECC Exhibition Center.
The exhibition, held under the theme “Joining Forces to Support and Use Lao Products,” will feature a wide range of locally made goods from across Vientiane. The event aims to promote domestic production, support small-scale entrepreneurs, and encourage the public to prioritize Lao-made products.
Speaking at the press conference, Vanmany Phimmasane, Head of the Vientiane Department of Industry and Commerce, highlighted the importance of the exhibition in strengthening local production capacity and expanding market opportunities for community-based products.
The event is expected to attract producers, entrepreneurs, and visitors from across the capital, providing a platform to showcase high-quality ODOP and model family products while fostering economic growth and cultural preservation.
