Jenjila Khounlivong from Savannakhet Province has won gold in the women’s long jump at the 12th National Games, held on 11 November 2025 at the National Stadium (KM16) in Vientiane.
Competing in the five-metre long jump, Jenjila delivered a standout performance to secure first place, earning her province another medal at the ongoing Games.
The 12th National Games, known as the Vientiane Games, bring together athletes from across Laos to compete in a range of disciplines, celebrating sporting excellence and national unity.
Jenjila’s triumph has been hailed as an inspiration for young athletes in Savannakhet and a reflection of the province’s growing sporting potential.
