(KPL/Xinhua) Google confirmed on Tuesday that its annual I/O (Input/Output) developer conference is set for May 20-21, 2025.

The event will be held at Mountain View's Shoreline Amphitheatre as usual, right beside the Google headquarters at San Francisco Bay Area in the U.S. state of California.

The two-day event is a mix of both public- and developer-facing content. Google CEO Sundar Pichai will kick things off with a big keynote on the morning of May 20, before making way for smaller breakout sessions for an army of developers, according to the company.

This year's developer season will kick off with Nvidia's GPU Technology Conference on March 17-21. Microsoft Build is set for May 19-22 in Seattle. Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference will be held in June.
