(KPL/Prensa Latina) The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched on Wednesday its 100th rocket, the GSLV-F15, carrying the NVS-02 satellite.

ISRO Chairman V Narayanan expressed his joy for the mission, the first launch in 2025, and stated that all vehicle systems are normal.

The mission is part of India’s Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) system, which aims to enhance land, air, and sea navigation and support precision agriculture and disaster management.

ISRO stated that it will also provide location-based services on mobile devices, satellite orbit determination, Internet of Things (IoT)-based applications, and emergency and timing services.

Narayanan noted that the space agency has placed 548 satellites into orbit in its 100th launching.
