KPL Four rice farmers’ groups in Attapeu Province received rice transplanters during a handover ceremony held on Jan 11 in Samakhysay District, witnessed by representatives of relevant authorities.


(KPL) Four rice farmers’ groups in Attapeu Province received rice transplanters during a handover ceremony held on Jan 11 in Samakhysay District, witnessed by representatives of relevant authorities. 
Vice Governor of Attapeu Province, Mr. Thanouxay Bansalith, stated, “Today, the Party committee and authorities of Attapeu Province are focusing on promoting local farmers’ production by increasing investment in developing the basic infrastructure needed to ensure agricultural production becomes a stable source of income.”


He added, “The presentation of rice transplanters to farmers’ groups aims to boost rice production, particularly during the dry season, while modernizing and improving the quality of their commercial rice production.”
During the event, local farmers were also given demonstrations on how to use the rice transplanters.
