Special preparations have been made, particularly in the emergency department, with enhanced staffing and a dedicated on-call team.
Mr. Sonexay Latsavong, Director of Friendship Hospital, recently stated that, in line with the Ministry of Health’s directive, the hospital has mobilized doctors, nurses, and medical staff to handle potential accidents and emergencies during this festive period. The hospital has ensured the availability of essential supplies, including wheelchairs, beds, linens, patient rooms, and medications.
Additionally, the hospital is strengthening coordination with other hospitals and rescue units that will also be on standby during this period. In cases involving critical patients, efforts will be made to transfer them to the nearest hospital without delay.
Friendship Hospital places great importance on staff development, emphasizing the ethical responsibilities of doctors and nurses.
