KPL Tropical storm Yagi is expected to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to Laos from Sept. 3 to 10, with a risk of landslides, flooding, and strong winds.

(KPL) Tropical storm Yagi is expected to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to Laos from Sept. 3 to 10, with a risk of landslides, flooding, and strong winds. 

Northern provinces, including Luang Namtha, Bokeo, and Luang Prabang, are likely to be most affected. 

The central and southern regions, including Vientiane, can also expect heavy rain and strong winds. 

Recent flooding in Bolikhamxay and Xayaboury provinces has already impacted thousands of households and farmland.
