(KPL) Made in Laos 2023 festival will be held at Lao-ITECC, Vientiane on Feb 10-19, a press conference was told on Monday.

The exhibition aims to promote the use and commercial production of domestic products, the improvement of the competitiveness of Lao products at international markets, SME, and business matchmaking. 

This year exhibition will have over 200 booths selling and displaying a variety of products from provinces across the country including one district one product - ODOPs, handicrafts, food, beverage, agri products, industrial products, furniture, IT, and services in transport and banking sectors, according to LNCCI Vice President Ms Chanthachone Vongsay.

“Interestingly, this year we have invited investors from China, Thailand and Vietnam to exhibit their products, and we will organize many sideline events including meetings, seminars to encourage knowledge sharing, award events and a concert,” Ms Chanthachone Vongsay told the meeting also attended by Director General of the Department of Trade Promotion, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Mr Saisomphet Norlasing.

“Made in Laos exhibition was held for the first time in 2011, and this year it will be held by the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Champassak Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It will highlight the way of life and customs, wellknown tourist attractions in Champassak Province,” said LNCCI Vice President Ms Chanthachone Vongsay.
