Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Khamphao Ernthavanh attended the International Investment Promotion Conference 2026 in Dien Bien Province, Vietnam, on October 19, bringing together representatives from Dien Bien, Luang Prabang Province of Laos, and Yunnan Province of China to strengthen regional economic cooperation and promote investment opportunities.
(KPL) Held under the theme “Dien Bien – Gateway to Trade, Hub of Investment Opportunities,” the conference provided a platform for Dien Bien to showcase its investment potential, business environment and development opportunities to domestic and international investors.
The event also encouraged businesses and investors to explore potential partnerships, strengthen regional economic linkages and identify investment projects that align with the strengths and development priorities of the participating provinces.
Under the motto “Dien Bien – Luang Prabang – Yunnan: Local Connectivity – Building Prosperity,” the conference reaffirmed the three provinces’ commitment to expanding cooperation, leveraging their respective economic strengths and promoting sustainable regional integration for the mutual benefit of businesses and people across the three countries.
