KPL Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone warmly welcomed a high-ranking delegation from the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, led by Prosecutor General Igor Viktorovich Krasnov, during their official visit to the Lao PDR from May 27 to 29.

(KPL) Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone warmly welcomed a high-ranking delegation from the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, led by Prosecutor General Igor Viktorovich Krasnov, during their official visit to the Lao PDR from May 27 to 29.

 Prime Minister Sonexay expressed his appreciation for the visit, describing it as a significant milestone in the long-standing friendship and expanding collaboration between the two countries.

“The enduring relationship between Laos and Russia continues to flourish, grounded in mutual respect and productive cooperation across multiple sectors, including legal affairs,” the Prime Minister noted. He emphasized the importance of ongoing dialogue and institutional exchanges as essential to promoting mutual development and understanding.

Prosecutor General Krasnov expressed his sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Sonexay for the warm and gracious welcome. He provided an overview of the delegation’s visit, which includes a series of official meetings and collaborative activities.

Mr. Krasnov highlighted the continued strengthening of ties between the General Prosecutor's Office of Russia and the Supreme People’s Prosecutor’s Office of Laos, particularly through regular high-level engagements and technical cooperation.
