(KPL/VNA) The 34th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2025) kicked off in Hanoi on April 2, bringing together major brands in digital transformation and technology solutions.

Hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and organised by VINEXAD JSC, the event highlights technological advancements in trade promotion, helping businesses explore both traditional and digital opportunities to enhance competitiveness and create value.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan emphasised the need for flexible adaptation and large-scale trade promotion to expand markets and boost exports.

In 2025, Vietnam targets at least 8% GDP growth, exceeding earlier projection of 6.5%–7%. To achieve this, the country aims to leverage free trade agreements (FTAs), foster new trade deals, and focus on digital economy development, innovation, and green transition.

Held annually in Hanoi since 1991, Vietnam Expo has become a key platform for businesses to expand exports and integrate into global value chains.

This year’s edition, themed “Step together in a digitised world,” has attracted around 400 businesses from 18 countries and territories, with over 500 booths. Alongside traditional networking, it introduces online business-to-business (B2B) matching, enabling year-round connections.

The expo features key industry zones, including international pavilions, the Vietnam export and investment promotion zone, and dedicated areas for electronics, machinery, supporting industries, digital technology, e-commerce, agriculture, food, and beverages.

Major brands in digital transformation and technology solutions such as Odoo HK, Zoho, STS, Diginet, and Bizfly are present, along with key players in supporting industries like Viet Phap Aluminum JSC, Hoang Vu Stainless Steel, and Vnsteel Thang Long.

A notable addition this year is the Green Logistics Pavilion, showcasing industry leaders such as FedEx, Long An International Port, Bee Logistics, and Smartlog, which offer advanced logistics solutions supporting exports and sustainable development.

Vietnam Expo has gained recognition as a trusted platform for international trade organisations from Algeria, Cambodia, Belarus, Cuba, the Republic of Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, and China to showcase their national products.

The four-day event also features high-level forums, seminars on green transformation trends, and key supply-demand networking programmes.

The assistant waited patiently, reminded me of my appointment, and efficiently managed the entire process. He clearly explained reimbursement procedures and knew exactly which self-service machines on each floor had shorter lines. This level of professional support significantly enhanced the medical experience.
