KPL (KPL) A Convoy of Solidarity to celebrate Lao-Vietnamese friendship was held at the Lao National Assembly in Vientiane on Sept 24.

 (KPL) A Convoy of Solidarity to celebrate Lao-Vietnamese friendship was held at the Lao National Assembly in Vientiane on Sept 24.

Attending the meeting were Lao National Assembly President Xaysomphone Phomvihane, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung, Vice Presidents of the Lao National Assembly, representatives of embassies and diplomatic corps, and a number of leaders and officials.

The cycling names “Convoy of Solidarity” to celebrate the Year of Solidarity and Friendship between Laos-Vietnam and Vietnam-Laos 2022.

 The event aims to enhance the existing great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, the two states and the people of the two countries Laos and Vietnam, especially Lao National Assembly and the Vietnamese National Assembly. This is a part of celebration of the friendship year between Laos and Vietnam, the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations and 45 years of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.
