(KPL) Three cover dance and two singing teams were announced the winners of K-POP World Festival Laos competition held in Vientiane on Jul 17 by the Republic of Korea Embassy to Laos.
The winners were selected among 13 teams joining the national completion.
D-Girl took first place in cover dance category. Meanwhile, Nezvil and Dominance took first and second runner-up places.
KT was announced as the winner of the singing category with Big Blue Bass named first runner-up.
This year K-POP World Festival Laos competition drew 27 candidate teams. The top three teams will represent Laos in the final round of K-POP World Festival in Korea.
Sunday’s night event saw the presence of Deputy Director General of Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Phanthanasone Phinphakdy
and Korea Ambassador to Laos, Mr Im Moo-hong.
Last year global version of K-POP World Festival drew more than 400 teams from around the world. Laos’ DX-Seven team won world's best award of the competition.
