KPL (KPL) Over 50 producers and entrepreneurs from southern provinces of Thailand have participated in the Southern Thailand Best Product @ Vientiane event held in Vientiane Capital.

(KPL) Over 50 producers and entrepreneurs from southern provinces of Thailand have participated in the Southern Thailand Best Product @ Vientiane event held in Vientiane Capital.

To be held through Sep 15 at Vientiane Center, Vientiane Capital, the exposition aims to promote trade and investment between Vientiane Capital of Laos and the southern provinces of Thailand namely Songkhra, Satun, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat.  

“This trade fair is among efforts to increase the bilateral trade value between our two countries and it is a platform for businesses from both sides to showcase their products,” said Rattana Theanvisitsakool, Inspector General, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.  

Featured at the trade fair include cosmetics, health products, household appliances, and ODOPs (One District, One Product).

      The Xeuchin Wind Power Projects 1 and 2 in Bolikhamxay Province, are rapidly approaching completion, with over 80% of construction already finished. The electricity generated will be exported to Vietnam under a cross-border energy cooperation agreement.
