KPL (KPL) Members of the National Assembly on Jun 22 approved amendment to the Law on Resolution of Economic Disputes to promote creating favourable conditions for investment.

(KPL) Members of the National Assembly on Jun 22 approved amendment to the Law on Resolution of Economic Disputes to promote creating favourable conditions for investment.

“After the approval of amendment to this law by the National Assembly, the policy and mechanisms will be implemented to ensure economic disputes are solved in a prompt manner and in a way realistic to the current socio-economic growth,” said Minister of Justice Xaysy Santivong.

“Over the past years, our consideration and settlement of economic disputes have been made slowly, as a result the number of business people receiving assistance from us is small. Meanwhile the quality of our staff remains limited. Therefore it is necessary to amend this law,” said Xaysy.
