Agricultural Promotion Bank Provides Almost LAK 70 Billion in Loans in Sekong

KPL (KPL) The Agricultural Promotion Bank Sekong branch has said its loans provided to people in Sekong province have amounted to almost 70 billion kip (USD 8.49 million) to facilitate business operation and income generation of local people.

(KPL) The Agricultural Promotion Bank Sekong branch has said its loans provided to people in Sekong province have amounted to almost 70 billion kip (USD 8.49 million) to facilitate business operation and income generation of local people.

The Head of the Agricultural Promotion Bank (Sekong Branch), Mr. Vethsouvan Souliyaki, revealed in a recent interview to the media that more than 50% of the loans provided went to the trade and service sector and 32.54% to the construction sector. Meanwhile, more than 7.4 billion went to the agricultural sector.

The bank branch also recorded more than 53 billion kip (USD 6.42 million) in deposits, increasing by 5.87% from 2015.

The bank branch has an ambitious plan to mobilize more deposits to meet the demand of customers.
