KPL (KPL) Bolikhamxay Province is allowing the local VSK Sole Company to conduct a feasibility study to construct for two small-scale hydropower dams in Bolikhamxay Province.

(KPL) Bolikhamxay Province is allowing the local VSK Sole Company to conduct a feasibility study to construct for two small-scale hydropower dams in Bolikhamxay Province.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the project was signed on Jan 13 in the province between Director of Bolikhamxay Provincial Planning and Investment Department Mr Phonthilath Sithsathon, and President of VSK Sole Company Mr Sakhone Keosouvanh, in the presence of relevant officials from both sides.

The company will spend 18 months on the feasibility studies for the two small-scale hydropower projects on the Nam Kalong River in Nakadok village, and the Nam Mahaeng River in the Namvae village area in Khamkeut district.
