In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the 4th Bolaven Plateau Coffee–Tea and Agricultural Products Festival 2025 was officially launched on Thursday, 4 December, at the Sitthone Kommadam Monument in Pakxong District. The festival showcased the Bolaven Plateau’s unique products to domestic and international audiences, highlighted agricultural progress in the country, and promoted domestic collaboration.

Vientiane will implement traffic direction changes across nine routes in the Sikhottabong, Chanthabouly and Sisattanak districts to support the development of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system and the planned Transit Mall along Setthathirath Road. The changes will affect the section from the Khun Bulom traffic-light intersection (Wat Inpeng) to Khobjai Deu Restaurant, covering approximately 600 metres.
