(KPL) On Feb. 9, 2026, Candidates for the 10th National Assembly and the 5th Provincial People’s Council representing Constituency 4 met with key district officials in La District on Monday to present their profiles and policy priorities ahead of the Feb. 22 election.
The meeting, held at the La District Hall, was attended by Ms. Vilavone Phanthavong, Vice Head of the Party Central Committee’s Propaganda and Training Board, along with National Assembly and Provincial People’s Council candidates.
During the session, candidates outlined their professional backgrounds, experience, and proposed plans of action, pledging to serve the interests of the people if elected.
Ms. Vilavone called on district officials to uphold a strong sense of political responsibility by carefully reviewing the qualifications of candidates and guiding citizens to make informed choices.
Officials were also encouraged to play a leading role in mobilizing eligible voters to participate in the election in an orderly manner and in accordance with the law.
