(KPL) President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Thongloun Sisoulith is on an official visit in the Russian Federation to further strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between Laos and Russia.
President Thongloun and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin are to discuss current issues pertaining to the cooperation between Laos and Russia in trade, economy, and cultural and humanitarian affairs, and exchange views on pressing regional and international matters, according to the Russian President’s official website.
Following the talks, a number of bilateral agreements will be signed.
