The gathering was attended by Ms. Suansavanh Vignaket, Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Mr. Sinlavong Khoutphaythoun, President of the Lao Front for National Development, Mr. Vladimir Kalinin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Lao PDR, officials, military personnel, police officers and students as well as members of the public to honor this historically significant occasion.
In her remarks, Minister Suansavanh praised the Russian government for organizing the parade in a grand and dignified manner, noting it as a powerful tribute to the sacrifices made during the Great Patriotic War.
