(KPL) Champasak Province is preparing to host the Bolaven Plateau Coffee, Tea, and Agricultural Products Festival 2025, the largest coffee festival in Southern Laos. This year, the festival highlights "Ensuring Food Security, Promoting Quality Agriculture, and Connecting Markets for Growth."

Taking place from 8 to 10 February 2025 at Seethon Kommadam Monument, Pakxong District, Champasak Province, the festival will once again bring together farmers, businesses, industry experts, and international stakeholders to celebrate the region’s agricultural excellence.

The Bolaven Plateau is known for producing some of the finest coffee, thanks to its rich volcanic soil and ideal climate. This festival will not only showcase high-quality coffee and tea but also locally grown fruits, vegetables, and other agro-based products that support farmers and communities.

A key highlight of the festival will be the exhibition of more than 30 booths, where visitors can experience and purchase high-quality coffee, tea, and other agro-based products directly from producers. Special workshops and seminars will also take place, offering insights into specialty coffee processing, export regulations, and advanced coffee roasting techniques.

In addition, we will arrange exclusive specialty coffee tastings led by local farmers and Bolaven Plateau's biggest coffee brewing competition with a total prize of 22,000,000 LAK.

The festival is organized by the Champasak Provincial government, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Agriculture and Forestry Office, and the Lao Coffee Association. In collaboration with Dao Heuang Group, the Green Cup project (AFD, the European Union's Global Gateway), Phetsavang Coffee, Sesouk Cafe, Somxay Coffee, and PTT Lao. Three days of coffee, culture, and connection in the heart of the Bolaven Plateau.
