ASEAN Fine Art Exhibition Held in Vientiane

KPL (KPL) –The National Institute of Fine Arts under the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism held an ASEAN fine art exhibition featuring works made from recycled materials in Vientiane.

(KPL) –The National Institute of Fine Arts under the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism held an ASEAN fine art exhibition featuring works made from recycled materials in Vientiane.

Promoting Cultural Heritage and Connectivity

The exhibition aims to disseminate cultural heritage along the Laos-China railway and enhance connectivity amidst cultural diversity, according to Mr. Khamphou Pheasakha, Deputy Director of the Planning and International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism.

Scheduled from July 10-14, the event began in Luang Prabang and was co-hosted by Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia. The exhibition focuses on strengthening the youth, particularly ASEAN students in the fields of art, fine art, and traditional food.

At today's event, souvenirs were awarded to representatives from each participating country. The project will continue with activities in Bangkok, Thailand, and will conclude in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 26, 2024.
