(KPL) On May 9, Vice President Ms Pany Yathortou received the outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Laos Kobayashi Kenichi on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic duties in the Lao PDR between 2021and 2024.
(KPL) On May 9, Vice President Ms Pany Yathortou received the outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Laos Kobayashi Kenichi on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic duties in the Lao PDR between 2021and 2024.
On this occasion, Ms Pany expressed her appreciation to Mr Kobayashi Kenichi for his significant contribution to strengthening the relations and cooperation between the Lao PDR and Japan, and mobilization of Japan’s assistance for socio-economic development of the Lao PDR.
The host also wished the outgoing Japanese Ambassador a safe home trip.
In reply, Mr Kobayashi Kenichi expressed his gratitude to the Vice President for facilitating the fulfillment of his diplomatic duties in the Lao PDR.
The ambassador also assured the host that he will continue to contribute to strengthening the cooperation between Laos and Japan.
On the same day, Ambassador Kobayashi Kenichi also paid a farewell visit to Minister and Head of the Presidential Office Khemmany Pholsena.
