Tourist information centres’ staff upgraded skill and capacity

KPL (KPL)On September 18, in Saravane province, the Tourism Promotion Department, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism organized a training course on the standards of tourism services for the staff to the four Tourism Information centers in the southern provinces of Champassack, Sekong, Attapeu and Saravane.

(KPL)On September 18, in Saravane province, the Tourism Promotion Department, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism organized a training course on the standards of tourism services for the staff to the four Tourism Information centers in the southern provinces of Champassack, Sekong, Attapeu and Saravane.

Ms Manisakhone Thammavongxay, Deputy Director of Tourism Promotion Department said that the purpose of the training course is to strengthen tourism service standards for staff at the tourism information centers which is very important and necessary for tourism promotion work.

The centre considers as  a place to provide service and information to tourists to travel in Laos, including tourist sites , hotels, restaurants, shops and other service related to tourism.

Trainees learned the importance of service work, the basic skills of hospitality services, the meaning and importance of service work, the work process of the reception staff and others.
