(KPL) A handover ceremony for the newly built office of the Pasaxon Newspaper and Lao Press in Foreign Language was held on 10 July 2014. The office was relocated to Khamphengmeuang Road, Sisattanark District, Vientiane Capital.

The construction of the office commenced in October 2012 and completed in May 2014. The building was built on 2,480 square metres of land and is a three-storey building with 35 offices. The construction cost is 40 billion kip (USD 5 million).

The President of TK Road and Bridge Construction, Mr Thatnakhone Thammavong, signed the handover agreement with the Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Savankhone Razmountry in the witness of the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Mr Bosengkham Vongdara, his deputy minister Mr Chaleune Warinthrasack, Director General of Pasaxon Newspaper, Mr Siviengkhaek Konnivong, and the Editor and Chief of the Lao Press in Foreign Language Mr Thongsavath Chansombath, and other relevant officials of both parties.
